Each fall, a fund-raising event is held on a Saturday afternoon/evening at the home of a friend of SRV. All proceeds from the event fund the school's Artist in Residence Program and sponsor special all-school assemblies during the year. High Spirits is an event where many current and former parents, staff and alumni attend to see each other, reminisce and to support the school. Spirits and hors d'oeuvres are served. This event is planned by parents and everyone pitches in to donate refreshments and work at the event.
