The School In Rose Valley is honored to be your host

To celebrate the legacy of progressive education and envision its future, The School in Rose Valley is honored to host this year-long educational symposium. Through case studies of progressively oriented programs, informative speakers, and web-based learning circles, symposium participants will deepen their understanding of progressive education beliefs and practices. Additionally, participants will identify points of collaboration and form learning circles through which current theoretical perspectives, socio-political issues, and instructional practices regarding progressive education can be explored.

Join us to actively participate in a learning experience that makes use of the progressive practices it preaches–inquiry, process, reflection and collaboration (of course, no preaching is allowed). Be surrounded and inspired by fellow progressive educators and thinkers including Alfie Kohn, Roland Barth, Eleanor Duckworth and Patricia Carini while you have the time to deeply reflect and re-imagine progressive education's possibilities.
