Our Alumni: Leaders, Innovators, and Creators Across the Globe

The School in Rose Valley is proud of our thousands of alumni who live and work, contribute and create, around the country and around the world. Having learned citizenship, critical thinking, self determination, and the value of childhood, our graduates enjoy careers in the arts, medicine, teaching, technology, advocacy, journalism, academics, and farming. That’s just the beginning. SRV alumni have likely made an impact on your life or the lives or your friends and loved ones. Caroly Wilcox, SRV ’47, was the creator of the beloved Sesame Street character, Elmo. Peter Nowell, SRV ’39, physician and researcher, discovered the Philadelphia Chromosome- changing the way medicine perceives cancer. See some profiles of SRV alumni below, and come back again soon to see more. If you would like to submit an alumni reflection to be featured on our website or elsewhere, please click here.
