Courtney Brown - The School in Rose Valley

Courtney joined The School in Rose Valley in 2025 and is passionate about nurturing the whole child and creating a classroom where curiosity, creativity, confidence, and empathy flourish through hands-on learning and authentic connections. She earned an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Delaware County Community College before completing her Bachelor’s degree in Early Grades Preparation (PreK–4) at West Chester University. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with children and families as a preschool teacher, nanny, and elementary classroom teacher, experiences that have shaped her belief that strong relationships are at the heart of meaningful learning. Courtney lives nearby with her husband, Ray, and their son, Wren, who is also an SRV student. Outside of school, she enjoys thrifting, spending time with her family, getting lost in a good book, and exploring the outdoors.
