Assistant Preschool Teacher | she/her
Linda is thrilled to be a part of the teaching staff at The School in Rose Valley. She holds a degree in Music Education from James Madison University. Linda’s most worthwhile and joyful endeavor has been the raising, educating, and supporting of her two children as a stay-at-home parent for over two decades. Partnering with her kids in their coming into adulthood has been a great privilege in her life and they are now two of her favorite humans. She is thankful for the things she learns from them and for writing this staff bio for her.
After time as a Preschool Co-Teacher at Swarthmore Presbyterian Nursery Day School, Linda brought her talents and wisdom to SRV in the summer of 2025. She delights in getting to know the children and families of this community throughout the school year and during Spring and Summer camps. She strives to continue offering wholehearted care to children and their families by providing a safe, loving space to explore and discover themselves and the world around them. She does this by valuing kindness, agency and consent.
