Science & Garden Teacher | he/him
Paul was born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, and has lived in Delaware County for most of his life. After graduating from Gettysburg College as a history teacher, Paul served in the Peace Corps in Ecuador. Charged with nutrition, sanitation, and community health, Paul began working on farms implementing agroforestry production methods. Paul returned to the U.S. and studied international sustainable agriculture and Latin America at Cornell University. Paul has taught in public school districts and abroad for over five years. When Paul is not thinking about curriculum innovations or working in the classroom, he enjoys working in community gardens and on farms. His passion is helping growers integrate trees into their farms so they can produce more using natural fertilization and pest control methods.
