Silvio Navarro - The School in Rose Valley

Silvio has spent his career in education, working with young children and learning from them. After graduating from Penn State University with a B.S. in Elementary Education, Silvio began working at The School in Rose Valley (SRV). Prior to joining SRV, he worked as an environmental educator and taught at a charter school in Philadelphia that focused on environmental education. Silvio has a graduate certificate in Virtual Online Teaching from the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education and has ongoing professional development experience in literacy instruction, inclusion and belonging, and progressive pedagogy. Silvio’s family loves making and dancing to music, going for nature walks, and playing with their pets (two cats and a dog)!
